At Denver International Airport, the baggage claim has a distinct and separate level at the Jeppesen Terminal. All passengers are required to go to level 5 to collect their bags, whether arriving on domestic or international flights. This level features the domestic, international, and oversized baggage claim belts. The Denver Airport contains 24 baggage claim belts, including regular, international collection and re-check, and oversized.

• International: Int’l baggage belts 1 to 3

DIA Baggage Claim Directions

Passengers arriving at Denver International Airport will have to move to a different level to access the baggage claim area:

• After landing at either level 4, where domestic flights arrive, or the top international arrival level.

• Take elevators or escalators and follow the signs to the DEN baggage claim. 

• Reach level 5, where all baggage belts are located.

• International passengers should move to the customs and border protection office before claiming bags.

• United, Southwest, Alaska, and American Airlines’ baggage service offices are present on the same floor. 

DEN Airport Airline Baggage Claim 

Each airline at DEN Airport has its own baggage claim belts, either on the North, East, or West sides of level 5, while international belts are located in the middle. 

Denver Airport Lost Baggage Services

Passengers can report their lost or delayed baggage at the lost and found office at the airport. Another option is that they report it online at their airline’s baggage service office. 

The Lost and Found Office operates at level 1 of the DEN Jeppensen Terminal from:

• Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
